We think our beliefs are true and we make so many decisions based on them.
There’s nothing wrong with beliefs, so long as we accept that our beliefs aren’t always true and they change as we develop. What served you well to keep you safe or motivating you years ago may no longer apply or serve you.
Beliefs are a mixture of conditioning, logic and experience but as we open ourselves up to experience more in our lives, they are bound to change. It’s therefore important that we don’t lose confidence in our own judgement because that is the one thing we can always rely on.
